DeKalb County Commissioners Ted Terry and Michelle Long Spears have hired noted Atlanta naturalist and tree ordinance expert Kathryn Kolb to draft a revised Tree Protection Ordinance (TPO) for DeKalb County and lead a series of input sessions beginning in early Sept 2026. Dates and times for public meetings will be posted soon.
